    Topic: Social Security Adminstation

    With the expected wave of "Baby Boomers" reaching retirement age, and employers providing financial planning information to workers nearing retirement age, Social Security information and speakers are a welcome resource. Social Security's Online Services for HR professionals will provide a wealth of knowledge that will help both the work place and its employees. Social Security will introduce SSA's Human Resource Professionals webpage, a tool that will help with employee referrals, benefit planning, and general information about Social Security Services, 2013 changes and benefits.

    Public Affairs Specialist, Social Security Administration

    Robert Fenn, an Elyria, OH native, has been with the Social Security Administration since September 1999. Robert assisted the public as a Service Representative till his promotion in 2006 as Claims Representative in Canton, OH. In this position, Robert specialized in Retirement, Survivors, Disability and Medicare Insurance benefits. Robert was promoted to Public Affairs Specialist, June 2008 for the Downtown Akron Social Security office. Robert’s outreach, media relations, and public presentations cover the Stark, Summit, Medina, Wayne, and Tuscarawas Counties.  Robert was previously employed with the temporary staffing agency of Robert Half International. Robert is married with two daughters ages fifteen and twelve. Robert majored in Interpersonal and Public Communications at the University of Akron.
