    Topic: Health Care Reform Updates

    Speaker: Mike Novelli (Aultcare)

    Bio:

    Mike Novelli is Vice-President of Reform Implementation and brings a broad knowledge to healthcare reform. His 23 years of experience in most aspects of healthplan administration enable him to provide Plan Sponsors, Brokers, and Members, real world impact of the maze of regulations put forth by the passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Mike has been a frequent speaker to employers, community organizations. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University with post-graduate study at Xavier University.

     

    Topic:

    Mike Novelli, Vice President of Health Care Reform at AultCare, will provide an overview of the Affordable Care Act (ACA ). He will walk us through the timeline on the various mandates. Many of these mandates will impact health plans in the 2014 plan year. He will outline the guidelines that a large employer group will need to meet in order to not have any additional penalties under the "Play or Pay" mandate. He will walk us though an example of what an individual will might experience while shopping on the health Insurance Marketplace (HIM). In conclusion, he will address questions from the group on areas that will impact their decisions as health plan administrators
