"Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail" - Dealing with an Active Shooter Emergency
Join us as Captain, Kyle Weygandt MS, LSP, MSA, O.P.O.T.A. Certified Ohio Peace Officer Instructor educates participants on the importance of having a safety plan to workplace violence. Through psycho-dynamic exercises and participants will learn how to:
1) Identify and deal with risk factors that lead up to a workplace violent episode.
2) The importance of “0” Tolerance to violence and reporting.
3) How to deal with an Active Shooter/Terrorist in your work environment
Captain Weygandt owns Just The F.A.C.T.S. (Facilitating A Commitment To Safety). He has a background in Psychology, Law Enforcement and Safety Training. As a L.S.P. (Licensed Safety Professional), police officer (Captain), investigator, and educator, he provides Human Relations Training, Crisis Intervention, and Active Shooter Response for colleges, and business adults.
He has served companies by teaching a myriad of topics which are designed to appeal to the adult learner. Through appropriate analysis of training needs and the application of behavior based studies, he has effectively stimulated participants to identify the need for employee relationships and invest in a proactive work culture! With over 30 years of safety, law enforcement, supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of training adults at the college, city, and state level, he has supported many safety teams by providing programs that inspire all employees to raise the bar in work relationships and return home safely at the end of their work day.
