"Developing Leaders: A Coaching Mindset and The Performance Curve"

The number one job of a leader is to grow and develop new leaders. Coaching is one of the most effective ways to do this. Yet most managers are ineffective at holding coaching conversations with their teams. Now think about your organization and who receives coaching. Which types of employees receive most of your coaching time?  If you are like most organizations, a disproportionate amount of time is spent with your poorest performers, leaving your high performers to survive on their instincts and current skills.  Join us as we explore organizational attitudes towards coaching and help you rebalance the scales to achieve higher performance from your teams.

After attending this session participants will:

    • Understand the difference between a problem-solving mindset and a coaching mindset
    • Learn the 6 Coaching Principles
    • Determine how to use the Performance Curve to identify who you should be coaching

Stacie is the president of Empowered Leadership and a certified business coach, trainer and speaker.  She specializes in leadership development and helps her clients become stronger, more confident leaders.
