Presentation Title: Supporting Regional Businesses through Powerful Partnerships
Program description: Review/Overview of employment/business services funded via the Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act (WIOA) Federal Legislation.
Program Objectives: To raise awareness of programs and services available to businesses via the OMJ Centers and Business Resource Network

Speakers: Matt Falter, Project Director/Network Manager - Business Resource Network
Matt Falter currently serves as the Project Director/Network Manager for the Business Resource Network (BRN), a local business retention/expansion outreach model based in Canton, Ohio that covers Stark and Tuscarawas counties in NE Ohio for Workforce Development Region 6.In his current role, Matt coordinates and manages an employer outreach strategy with business solutions advisors and economic development staff in Stark and Tuscarawas Counties. Matt has over 22 years of combined private-public experience in project management and administrative roles related to workforce and economic development. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent State University and recently obtained the Certified Business Engagement Professional (CBEP) credential.
Logan Little, Employment Services Manager, OhioMeansJobs - Stark County
Logan Little currently serves as the Employment Services Manager for the Workforce Initiative Association, operator of the OhioMeansJobs centers in Stark and Tuscarawas Counties.In his current role, Logan manages the daily operations of all One-Stop Resource Centers, including oversight of business services, job seeker services, and partner operations. Logan has been with the WIA since 2020. Logan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Walsh University and recently obtained the Certified Business Engagement Professional (CBEP) credential.
OhioMeansJobs is a Workforce Development and Training Center that connects job seekers with employers.
The Business Resource Network is a program that connects employers with hundreds of resources such as loans, grants, tax credit, etc.
Registration begins at 7:15 a.m.
Plated Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m.
Program will begin at 8:00 a.m.
