An update from SCHRA President, Eric Hajek

    April 7, 2020

I hope this message finds you healthy and doing well. More so than ever, HR is taking a leading role with employers and employees during these unprecedented times. Thank you for all of your contributions, they are impactful, both in the short and long term.

Here are a few quick SCHRA updates:

    1. The April breakfast meeting with Akron SHRM has been canceled due to COVID-19. We will look to have a social event/happy hour with them at a later date.

    2. We are considering a variety of topics for an April SCHRA webinar. If there’s a specific topic of interest, please let us know.

    3. Our May 19 speaker, Dan Csaky, has already agreed to shift his presentation to a webinar format, if needed.

    4. Please consider using our SCHRA LinkedIn page as a forum for questions, idea sharing, and collaborating during this unique time. I have witnessed a lot of great dialogue by members via email. I believe this same type of collaboration can benefit all our members if done on the SCHRA LinkedIn page.

We will continue to communicate through our website, email, and social media platforms as details develop. Please let us know how SCHRA can help you and your organization during these unique times.
